Main residence under construction in Rhodes. Outside the city plan.
It is articulated in two uneven, seemingly autonomous volumes that communicate with the entrance area.
The eastern (ground floor) houses the private areas of the residence as evidenced by its northern side, protected from prying eyes.
The western one hosts the living areas and the main bedroom with the living room occupying the entire height of the space up to the visible wooden roof. The arrangement of the openings allows for thorough ventilation and sufficient lighting of the premises.
Orientation and placement on the plot helps to exploit the elements of nature all year round.
Local stone and wood predominate and give the robust forms familiarity and harmony with the environment.
